The Heart Shot Book Review

5/5 stars - love, love, love!

I'll make this quick. The Heart Shot by Emily Schneider is amazing. The characters have great chemistry, it's funny, it's got heart- it's everything you want in a rom-com. You've got grumpy (FMC) x sunshine (MMC) and some great book boyfriend content (especially in Chapter 22 *heart eyes*). I also felt like the plot was well done. Admittedly, I'm comparing this with far less interesting rom-com movies, but The Heart Shot had an actual compelling plot (which I LOVED). Overall, The Heart Shot is a great, cute, and clean little read (seriously, I had the dumbest smile on my face as I read it). Also, there is a sequel (featuring some side characters) coming out in December 2023, so...
